I wanted to let you know where I am in the development of The Chaos ttrpg.
random rolls
Right now, I've pretty much completed all the coding for the nifty dice roller, character & NPC, rumour and job generators for the site. You can find these here, and I'd love to know what you think. The idea for the character generation, of course, is that you'll do it manually given how rapid the process is, but if you don't have time, maybe if your character's died in the midst of a session and you need another one rolled up pronto, one click and you can have a new one generated in an instant. I've also worked out how to script it so that you can download a basic pdf, but also a fillable pdf which is populated with the rolled up stats for you.
sample deck
I've recently got a sample of the card deck for the game printed. Having picked through this carefully, I've adjusted the deck and updated the playtest pack. Some of the colouring of the cards, for example, made it difficult to read given the small text on the cards, so I've adjusted the brightness and hopefully you'll see the difference.
background work
Beyond that, I've been gradually filling up thechaosttrpg.com in the background with the entire text of the game, adding various options for navigation to make it easy to reach what you need. The idea is to have the whole game on there for free, and you'll also be able to download the free pdfs for the game. Once the physical deck's ready, you'll be able to pick it up from the site, and there'll also be other stuff on there, including my other ttrpg decks you can use in the game, and also the module zines I'm beginning work on which will lay out some random, chaotic adventures you can run in The Realm.

Please share the game with all & sundry, spreading The Chaos into every dark corner its flickering torches haven't quite reached. My aim is for the game to grow like an invigorating fungus on the minds of the OSR community and beyond, and I can't thank you enough for being a part of this.
