The trait scores for your character suggest facets of who you are. In any order you like, for each of these traits roll 3d6...
Brawn. No probs, I’ll get out your way. I mean, I could just try the lock. No? Fair enough, slam it open as usual! High on this trait, you might fancy choosin' to play a burly brawler.
Smarts. OK you weird, book-readin’ fiend, you can work it out like a pro. Lord it over us, why don’t ya. Maybe play an arcane weaver if your brain’s a big ‘un.
Instinct. Ooft, nothing gets past you. High score on this says you’re street smart, you’ve got your wits about you, truth of nature and all that. Roll up a spiritual, healing empath if you like.
Agility. Anyone seen my loot from that last job? I know you took it. Can’t prove it right enough. If your reflexes are good, if you’re nimble and fast, you could be a thieving rascal.
Vigor. I haven’t sussed just how you can eat and drink like that but still manage to fight like you’re starvin'. High score on this, thick-skinned tough nut has your name on it.
Presence. A right wee force of personality, ain't you? Too much for my likin', but I tell you what, the way they’re lookin’ at you? You’re defo the deceptive charmer.
Before the game, if you’d like to up your highest score by 1, reduce one of your other scores by 2, subject to a minimum of 9. If your rolls suck across the board, hey, take a re-roll...but only once!
